RocStarts.com is an informational resource for entrepreneurs and entrepreneurship in the Rochester and Finger Lakes region. As an information hub, RocStarts aims to provide the entrepreneurial community with news, original stories, a catalog of regional resources and a comprehensive events calendar related to starting and growing a business.

The site is administered by NextCorps and a team of community editors, and is financially supported through the Finger Lakes Innovation Hotspot – a program managed by NextCorps and Venture Creations, RIT’s Technology Business Incubator. Spawned out of an initiative that traces its roots to the Finger Lakes Regional Economic Development Council’s Entrepreneurship & Innovation working group, RocStarts highlights the strengths of the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the region, and makes it easy for entrepreneurs to find the right resources to help them build their companies.
