Applications accepted until February 14, 2024
This year, the top FuzeHub Jeff Lawrence Innovation Fund grant award is $65,000. Applications will be accepted until February 14. This honor, designed to allow companies to demonstrate the commercialization potential of their technology or product, is part of the Jeff Lawrence Innovation Fund Manufacturing Grants.
For the first time, the award application is including a video submission to showcase the project. Here are guidelines to learn about the video submission.
The grants are designed to encourage collaboration between not-for-profit organizations and small to medium-sized manufacturing companies in New York State. These grants serve as a resource to help companies achieve success from early stage, proof of concept through maturity. The partnership created with the not-for-profit organization often serves as the method for technology transfer, implementation of new manufacturing processes, and the creation of enhanced products and services.
Larger grants are available this year because of additional funding being provided by the U.S. Economic Development Administration. At least four awards in this round will be granted to projects benefiting start-up companies. Of those, at least two awards will be made to projects that exclude the purchase of equipment.
