Digital Rochester announces 2018 GREAT award nominees
Digital Rochester announced the finalists for the eighth annual GREAT Awards. Short for “Greater Rochester Excellence and Achievement in Technology,” the awards recognize individuals and organizations from the Rochester area who are making contributions to innovation and technology. The awards presentation is Sept. 26 at the Joseph A. Floreano Rochester Riverside Convention Center.
This year’s event, themed Technology Playground, celebrates innovators in the community. The nominees are:

Tech Luminary Award Winner
New this year, the Tech Luminary Award winner was selected from nominations submitted by DR board members. Andre Godfrey, President/CEO, Entre Computer Services, will be recognized at the event as the 2018 GREAT Awards Tech Luminary winner.
The program kicks off at 5 p.m. with an exhibitor showcase that features some of Rochester’s top technology companies, networking and grazing stations. Tickets for the awards event are $110 for Digital Rochester Members and $125 for nonmembers.
