Manufacturing Accelerator Accepting Applicants
Applications will soon be accepted for the NextCorps Manufacturing Accelerator. This program will provide mentoring for all participants and will reduce the risk and costs associated with getting hardware from prototype to mass production. For members of a hardware start-up or a product design team, this accelerator can help speed product commercialization and connect participants to funders, manufacturers, technical experts and Manufacturing Extension Partnerships (MEPs).
Through this cohort-based program, participants will learn about the various stages of manufacturing.
The program introduces contributors to a simplified approach to manufacturing and enables them to prioritize, test and optimize with industry experts. In addition, the session will introduce funding opportunities and manufacturers who will help refine the product design so it is ready to mass produce.
A Manufacturing Accelerator Webinar, which will outline the requirements for the program, will be held on February 14, 2024, at 11 a.m. Register for the information session.
Lead by Managing Director, Mike Riedlinger, and Startup Manufacturing Program Coordinator, Mike Marvin, this virtual information session will help assess if applying to the Manufacturing Accelerator will be helpful.
This meeting will cover:
- The benefits of the NextCorps Manufacturing Accelerator program
- How the program is structured and how much time it takes to participate
- Who should apply
- The application process and how companies are selected
For the application to the program, beginning on 2/28/24, go to Apply to the Manufacturing Accelerator.
